Indoor radio propagation characteristics in 200 MHz band

(in English) This paper presents the indoor propagation characteristics using 200 MHz indoor measurements for indoor service area design on multimedia broadcasting. The measurements were performed in office buildings in Yokosuka city, Kanagawa and conducted under some different conditions of line-of-sight indoor propagation. Measured data is compared with existing propagation models and discussed on 200 MHz indoor propagation characteristics such as the condition on which excess loss is happened by indoor space. Other system design parameters such as the outdoor to indoor penetration loss characteristics and the interference characteristics on multiple indoor transmitters are also discussed.
