[Invited Talk] The New Trend of Storage System Technology -- Storage Technology in the era of 4K/8K --

(in English) 4K8K technologies are going to be deployed toward the 2020 Tokyo Olympic. Due to the huge size of data, it is hard to design the 4K8K system along the IT roadmap that the industry has followed. However, the IT technology has variety to meet wide range of business requirements. IBM Tokyo Laboratory designed the prototype of the 4K8K workflow, researching the technical concerns in 4K8K file-based workflow and mapping the suitable technology to each of them. This paper reports the workflow design that was demonstrated in NAB 2015.
