Longer mutual gaze between lecturers and audiences improves the quality of lectures and speeches. Conventional studies in telepresence have only focused on sending gaze direction correctly. In this study, in order to send both the correct gaze direction and a longer mutual gaze, we made a telepresence avatar combining convex eye and hollow eye using reverse perspective. We conducted two experiments to examine how correctly and widely each eye can transmit the gaze. We found that the convex eye can send the correct gaze direction to audiences and hollow eye can send longer direct gaze to audiences more widely. We got the prospect that this avatar can send the correct gaze direction and a longer mutual gaze.
