A mechanical trucking optical receiver module used on a spherical surface

(in English) We propose an under optical transmission system using LED. The optical repeater we developed so far, has a problem that optical modules with large incident angle can not receive enough optical power as ones facing the optical transmitter. We designed an optical module that tracks the arrival direction of light by using 4 PDs and a separator. We confirmed improvement in CNR quality of received sine wave by moving optical modules on the surface the ball, mechanically.
