A consideration of optical repeater for next generation digital terrestrial broadcasting signal using radio over fiber

(in English) In the next generation digital terrestrial, the QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) with high number modulation and multiple antenna technique are considered to increase data rate without frequency bandwidth from current assignment. Meanwhile, the gap filler equipment are introduced for repeating digital terrestrial broadcasting signal to solve radio dead zone, such as underground city. This article considers the system configuration for repeating the next generation digital terrestrial broadcasting signal without modifying current relaying architecture.
