In this paper, we propose an accurate detection method of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection based on new image feature extracted by focusing on the relationship between the values of blood examination and symptoms of H. pylori infection appeared on X-ray images. Specifically, the new image feature is extracted by mapping into a subspace in which the correlation between the values of blood examination, i.e., Hp Antibody level and PG levels, and original image features is maximized via Kernel Canonical Correlation Analysis. Consequently, the accurate detection of H. pylori infection is realized by using the new image features. |
