Proposal of radial artery detection method using temperature distribution features of forearm surface

(in English) Pulse measuring technique using thermal image has been reported as one of the non-contact and non-invasive pulse measurement method. In this paper, for the automatic pulse measurement, we propose a method to detect the radial artery to be used in the pulse measurement using the temperature distribution of the forearm surface. By an experimental results using palpation result as the truth value, 9 of 14 subjects succeeded in the detection of the radial artery.
