Experimental Evaluation of a Polarization Switchable Ring Slot Active Antenna Integrating Gunn Oscillators

(in English) In this paper, we propose a polarization switchable active antenna integrating Gunn oscillators. The proposed active antenna is composed of two Gunn oscillators, a ring slot antenna and a polarization switching circuit using four diodes. The polarization angle switching function of a prototype antenna is experimentally demonstrated. The antenna can be applied to a transmission antenna for a spatial modulation system using polarization.
