「人の意志や考え」、「人の身体情報」、「人やモノの位置や状態」、「人やモノの個別情報」、「自然環境」などの情報から必要なものを選び出し、人にとって価値ある情報に変換することで、機械をコントロールするセンシング&コントロール技術。この技術に、「自ら考える＝Think」の概念をプラスすることで機械が人の考えや状況を把握し、人と機械が最適に調和したオートメーションを目指している。
本報告では、画像処理技術、AIを駆使し、人とラリーをする卓球ロボットや車の運転時のドライバー運転集中度センシング技術を中心に人と機械の調和を目指した事例を紹介する。 |

There are various information including human thoughts and intentions, human physical conditions, positions and states of human/objects, individual attributes of human/objects, and natural environments. Sensing & Control is the core technology that selects the requisite types of information, converts it into valuable information for the person in question, and uses it to control machines accordingly. We are aiming to build automation with harmony between human and machines by adding “Think” element, which enables machines not only to understand human thoughts and conditions but also think by themselves.
In this paper, I introduce some examples of building harmony between human and machines using image sensing technology and AI. More specifically, the table tennis robot to rally with people and the driver concentration sensing technology for driving vehicles. |
