Basic Study of a Multi-Port Fourth-Harmonic Push-Push Oscillator Using a Ring Resonator

(in English) In this paper, a basic study of a multi-port fourth-harmonic Push-Push oscillator suitable for oscillator arrays is presented. In Push-Push oscillator arrays, oscillators are synchronized and the output phase difference is controlled by coupling circuits at 1/4 of the desired frequency. Therefore, wide range phase control of the output signal can be achieved. It is confirmed that the outputs of the desired fundamental signal and the fourth harmonic were obtained from respective ports.
