Unprecedented User Experience of Omnidirectional Images on TV, Content Distribution based on TV Receiver Performance, and Subjective Evaluation Method.

(in English) We have succeeded in creating content to achieve superior user experience over the conventional implementation method by performing 3D rendering with only Canvas, in order to provide omnidirectional images to Hybridcast that is currently not support WebGL. Also, we propose a method to distribute contents using frame rate values of TV receiver. This is a method to reduce the production workload than the conventional method based on preliminary verification and model determination in order to maintain the content quality regardless of the performance difference of the TV sets. In addition, we introduce the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) as a subjective evaluation method expressing the quality of the user experience on Hybridcast and verify the correlation between the measured value of the reception performance and the subjective evaluation.
