Performance Evaluation of SC-FDE Considering Nonlinear Distortion by using 42-GHz Band Power Amplifier -- Toward 4K and 8K Wireless Camera --

(in English) The authors have been studying a single-carrier transmission with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) scheme for compact and highly power-efficient 4K/8K wireless camera system using 42 GHz band. In this report, the transmission performances through the nonlinear distortion of a 42 GHz band power amplifier (PA) were evaluated using a prototype of 200 Mbps-class modulator and demodulator of the SC-FDE. As the result, the SC-FDE scheme can extend the maximum transmission distance than an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) scheme using the same PA.
