Mobile Reception Performance under Partial Reception of the Next Generation Terrestrial Broadcasting System

(in English) In this report, mobile reception characteristics of the partial reception band in the preliminary specification of the next generation terrestrial television broadcasting are examined. Reception characteristics against the stream of the layer A transmitted by the 9 segments in the partial reception band are evaluated under the TU6 channel model. The effects of time interleaving, channel estimation, SP patterns, etc. are analyzed by simulations.
