A Study on Radio over Ethernet System for Mobile Wireless Camera

(in English) Wireless Camera system, which offers a robust wireless link with low latency, enables the camera operator to move freely and becomes powerful tool for music and sports program production. To simplify base station setup for wireless camera system, we are developing a Radio over Ethernet(RoE) system which transfer digitized radio signal from a radio head end to a radio processing end. Since fluctuation of sampling clock degrades signal quality, we have developed experimental RoE system with network-based phase locked loop. The results of experiment show equivalent CNR degradation of this system is 41dB and it successfully transfers radio signals of distantly located base radio stations of wireless camera.
