Study of Channel Aggregation for Mobile Transmission FPU System

(in English) Time Division Duplex (TDD)-based bidirectional digital field pick-up unit (FPU) system is now being studied. In this new digital FPU system, Channel Aggregation is effective to improve transmission efficiency. Here, the frame configuration is the technical problem in Channel Aggregation. Further, this new digital FPU system shares its frequency band with other wireless systems. Therefore, digital FPU system should detect and avoid the interference from other wireless systems of which the signal format is unknown. We have examined the method of the detection and avoidance of the interference from other wireless transmission systems instantaneously. But this is the case of using only one frequency. We studied the frame configuration in Channel Aggregation. Further, we studied the frequency transition scheme in Channel Aggregation. From the results of indoor experiment, it was confirmed that the proposed scheme achieved an excellent performance.
