Study on relationship between weight and changing impression of arm

(in English) Recently, it is paid attention that the proteus effect which affects users’ behavior by impressions of their avatar in virtual environment. We confirmed weight illusion occurred by colored users’ arm. Especially, we conjectured that impressions of the color of users’ arm affected sensation of weight. In this paper, we consider the weight illusion by changing impressions of arm with various 3DCG avatars. We investigated the impression of various 3DCG avatars. As a result, it was confirmed what correlation was seen in impression and weight.
