Image plays an important role in analyzing human movement in competitive sports and daily life. Analysis of human movement includes the tactics of the team and the distance traveled by each athlete in a game, the race pattern, the motion of body segments(kinematics), the force and power exerted during the motion(kinetics) and so on. Images are used in all of them. This paper outlines the role of image used in the analysis of human movement and the transition of image technology and measurement method. |
