Printed monopole antenna for circular polarization in UWB high band.

(in English) Authors proposed a circularly polarized antenna for radar using UWB high band to detect the position of an object at short distance. In this radar, the transmitting antenna radiates right-handed circularly polarized waves and the receiving antenna receives reflected waves from the object as left-handed circularly polarized waves. The proposed antenna has transmitting and receiving antennas on same plane of the dielectric. As a single antenna element, elliptical printed monopole antenna was used. In simulation, the bandwidth of 10dB-Return loss with a 3dB-Axial ratio is 38.3%(7.01GHz~10.33GHz), covering the UWB high band (7.25GHz~10.25GHz). The isolation between the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna in the same band was -30dB or less.
