The dual band antennas composed of the unbalanced fed low profile inverted L antenna and a parasitic element are excited by a Gaussian monocycle pulse voltage source and the time response of the voltage distribution and the current distribution at the feed point are compared. The resonant frequencies are 2.45 GHz, 4.5 GHz, and 2.45 GHz, 2.67 GHz. For numerical analysis, the time domain solver of the electromagnetic field simulator WIPL-D based on the Method of Moments is used. |
