A Note on Twitter Followee Recommendation Based on Adaptive Integration of Multiple Classification Results

(in English) This paper presents a recommendation method of users who are expected to be followed by a target user in Twitter. The proposed method enables accurate followee recommendation by collaboratively using features based on following relations among users and texts and images in their tweets. Specifically, by constructing classifiers for each feature, the proposed method can output degrees that represent target user's interest in a followee candidate. Furthermore, by adaptively integrating the outputs from each classifier through multi-layer perceptron, the followee candidate who a target user has the highest degree of interest in can be accurately recommended. Finally, we confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method via experiments using the real-world Twitter dataset.
