View recommendation for sketch-based hair modeling

(in English) Hair is an essential factor representing individuals. It is in demand for ordinary persons who are not experts of professional software on 3D computer graphics (3DCG) to represent hairstyles with flexible hair modeling in 3DCG. This paper presents our methods to realize sketch-based hair modeling efficiently by supporting a viewpoint recommendation technique so that such users can simply play hair modeling. We aim to make this task efficient and straightforward in sketch-based hair modeling by evaluating the shapes and finding appropriate viewpoints automatically. We introduce the concept and progress of this study in this paper.
