In recent years, the action of "seeing the sea" using an underwater camera has been actively performed. The investigation using a camera has overwhelming spatial resolution as compared to conventional sound exploration, and it is highly expected to be practical because it can provide easy-to-understand and intuitive information for the user. In this paper, we introduce the background and the details of our research and development about fishery support using the image processing technology, such as scallop fishing on Tokoro area and Notsuke area in Hokkaido. |
