In the Japanese next-generation DTTB(Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting), the scheme based on BST-OFDM(Band Segmented Transmission – Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) in ISDB-T(Integrated Service Digital Television Broadcasting-Terrestrial) is proposed. The preliminary specification implements function to boost the power of central 9 segments as compared to other segments (Power Boost). In addition, LDM-BST-OFDM which combines LDM(Layered Division Multiplexing) of ATSC3.0(Advanced Television Systems Committee 3.0) with BST-OFDM is proposed in order to achieve better frequency utilization. In this paper, LDM-BST-OFDM transmission scheme boosting partial reception band is studied and performance of the LDM-BST-OFDM is evaluated by computer simulations under AWGN(Additive White Gaussian Noise) environment. |
