In-vitro experiments of artificial retina using thin film device

(in English) We have developed an artificial retina using thin-film transistors (TFT) and thin-film phototransistors (TFPT). We drove the artificial retina immersed in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) by wireless power transfer, and observed stimulation current flowed in PBS. The frequency of the stimulation current was modulated by the illuminance. We confirmed the correct operation of the artificial retina.
