[Poster Presentation] Minimum Display Time for Depth Perception in DFD Display When Removing the Influence of Afterimages by Immediately Displaying Random Dots Pattern

(in English) We clarify that pure minimum display time for depth perception is small enough in DFD (Depth-fused 3D) display. When the afterimages effect was used in short display of only stimuli, the shortest display time for depth perception was 1.6 ms. In order to eliminate the effects of afterimages, random dot pattern were displayed immediately after short display of stimulus image, and the pure minimum time was evaluated. Even when the afterimage effect is not used, minimum display time for perceived depth is about 60 ms at sufficient bright image, whose depth is linearly changed according to the theoretical value.
