Prototype Evaluation of a 90° - Hybrid Based Variable Power Divider for Beam Steering Array Antennas with Input Amplitude Control

(in English) We have proposed a beam steering antenna based on a monopulse system that integrates microstrip antenna elements and planar Magic-Ts. This antenna can control the beam angle by changing the amplitude ratio of two input signals. In this paper, a variable distribution ratio power divider using a 90°hybrid is discussed. Amplitude control range of around 7.7dB with better than 10dB return loss was confirmed by prototype evaluation.
