A Note on Estimation of rock compressive strength index from drilling data based on online learning

(in English) It is necessary to evaluate the ground condition of the rock mass for safe and efficient tunnel construction. Currently, the evaluation of ground condition is performed by engineers manually, and thus methods of quantitative evaluation that do not rely on human biases are required. In this paper, we present a ground condition estimation method based on online learning using drilling data. An online learning-based estimation model can learn parameters according to the tunnel construction process. Therefore, it is possible to take into account changes in ground conditions, and highly accurate estimation can be realized.
