[Tutorial Lecture] Clarification of Statistical Properties of Phase-Only Correlation Functions Based on Directional Statistics

(in English) Phase-only correlation (POC) functions have been widely applied in many fields including signal matching, for evaluating similarity between two signals. Our group has researched statistical propertiesof the POC functions assuming phase-spectra to be random variables and has noted that directional statistics are quite useful in statistical analysis of the POC functions. This lecture introduces statistical properties of the POC functions that our group has clarified.
