Transmission Performance Evaluation of an Advanced ISDB-T -- Fixed Reception Performance of Practical Field Trials --

(in English) We are currently developing an advanced Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial(ISDB-T) system to provide both 4K·8K broadcasting service for fixed reception and 2K service for mobile reception within a channel simultaneously. We have already evaluated the fixed reception performance of the system in the AWGN (Additive White Gaussian Noise) environment and in the actual propagation environment. In this paper, we selected 6 transmission parameters from the viewpoint of required C/N operated in Japan and compered their transmission characteristics by practical field trials. As a result, it was confirmed that each median value of degradation by the actual propagation are approximately 0.5 dB.
