Circuit design for excitation and switching of four resonance modes in polarization agile antenna

(in English) We have proposed a quad-polarization agile antenna loading diodes. This antenna can switch four boundary conditions depending on the state of eight diodes. Several antenna structures with polarization switching have been proposed. However, the control circuits were not physically implemented in some antennas for four polarization switching. In this paper, we propose a circuit for the diode switching and report the evaluation results of simulation. The control circuit is constructed on the same substrate as a radiation element, and a quad-polarization agile antenna is realized in a single-layer structure. The independent operation of the two control circuits and RF feeding circuit is confirmed.
