A Visual Simulation Method for Replacing Wallpaper with Less Discomfort

(in English) When a user tries to renew wallpaper of a room, he/she selects a wallpaper by looking small 10 cm square wallpaper samples. However, it is difficult to imagine what the room would look like if the selected wallpaper is placed in the room. This is because wallpaper has various patterns, textures and materials. The user scans the room with a tablet and the room is modelled in 3D. Finally, our proposed method simulates a renewal feeling by mapping the shading model of the wallpaper that expresses the unevenness and glossiness on the wall surface of the 3D model.
