Motion Correction of CG Avatar Based on Case Data of Interaction

(in English) By using motion capture, the user can manipulate the CG avatar in response to the user's movements. However, due to the measurement environment and measurement errors, the user's posture cannot be obtained accurately and the avatar's posture may be broken. Therefore, we propose a method for correcting avatar movements by similar posture completion that considers the posture information of the face-to-face person based on interaction case data. Similar postures are calculated from the posture information of the user and the face-to-face person. As a result, the accuracy of the similar posture calculation is improved, and it is expected to construct an avatar movement with appropriate completion.
