[Invited Talk] Interdisciplinary research and real-world applications based on multimedia AI technologies

(in English) In this paper, we introduce interdisciplinary research and real-world applications based on multimedia AI technologies. The recent development of AI technologies is expected to solve various problems in the real world. In this paper, we introduce our research on multimedia AI and its application to the real world data. Specifically, we introduce our interdisciplinary research to solve these problems through collaboration with different research fields such as medicine, civil engineering and materials science. In addition, we explain new perspectives that are necessary for the sustainable development of AI in the real world through examples of advanced AI based on analysis of biological data such as brain activity, gaze and viewing behavior obtained while viewing multimedia data. In addition, we will discuss a new trial of realizing human-centric AI technologies based on the biological data analysis.
