[Invited Talk] The concept of a small sound reproduce system for 3D audio and its evaluation method

(in English) In recent years, it has become possible to increase the number of channels of audio equipment, and large-scale equipment using dozens or more loudspeakers has made it possible to reproduce more realistic stereophonic sound. On the other hand, with the spread of smartphones and smart speakers, listening opportunities in narrow spaces are increasing. For example, listening to music at home or in your room, or teleconferencing. While digital transformation (DX) is being sung, multimedia communication for personals has greatly developed, and it will be useful to add more functions to sound processing. Here, we will consider and propose the functions required when using 3D sound for individuals and a small number of people in the DX era, and discuss the evaluation method.
