Transmission Performance Evaluation by Laboratory Experiments of a Compensator with Channel Equalization and Symbol Decision for an Advanced ISDB-T

(in English) For the construction of broadcast network by an advanced ISDB-T, it is useful to utilize broadcast-wave relay as with ISDB-T. In MFN broadcast-wave relay of ISDB-T, the compensation technique with channel equalization and symbol decision is widely utilized to improve the deterioration of the signal quality. We have been developing the compensation technique which corresponds to the advanced ISDB-T that expected to operate with more higher order modulation. This paper proposes a method which simplifies implementation while maintaining the transmission performance. The measurement results of the laboratory experiments verified the effectiveness of the method.
