Optimal design for OLED light extraction from the viewpoint of electromagnetic field theory

(in English) The author and others recently showed in a discussion based on the electromagnetic field theory that the light extraction efficiency of OLED corresponds to the refractive index in power circuits. But we should take more consideration about the conventional photonics or plasmonics structure used to further improvement of the light extraction efficiency. For this consideration, we present an analysis model based on the WKB solution used for input / output efficiency calculation of the refractive index grating coupler for optical circuits, and investigate the optimum design method based on the knowledge obtained so far.
