SC-FDE (Single Carrier - Frequency Domain Equalization) is a wireless system that transmits information bits by single carrier modulation. This system uses a reference signal called “unique word” inserted in the transmitter to equalize the frequency domain at the receiver. In order to expand the transmission capacity of the system, it is necessary to perform high-order modulation. For that, FDE must be realized with high accuracy. Therefore, we examined the improvement of the estimation accuracy of CSI (Channel State Information) used for FDE, and examined the modulation from QPSK to 4096QAM. As an example, we examined transmission parameters using the standard of microwave band FPU (Field Pick-up Unit) as a model, and evaluated Gaussian noise resistance and multipath interference resistance by computer simulation. |
