Vector Font Generation for CJK Characters with Transformer

(in English) Designing fonts for CJK characters is exceedingly labor-intensive and time-consuming. CJK vector font generation had been an unsolved problem, with its complex shape and numerous characters. In this study, we addressed the problem of generating CJK vector fonts from only a single sample. We proposed a novel network architecture with Transformer and a loss function to capture structural features. With the proposed method, we successfully generated CJK vector font for the first time.
