Study on reproduction of focused source moving with the listener's hand, and its perceptual and amusement.

(in English) The purpose of this study is to investigate the sound localization and feeling of amusement when a listener controls the movement of a focused source during focused source reproduction. In this study, the focused source is reproduced by Wave Field Synthesis using a linear loudspeaker array. The movement of the source is tracked to the listener’s hand with a motion capture. To reproduce the tracking source in real-time, we approximate the filter of the moving focused source by decimal point delays based on an all-pass filter. We conducted a subjective evaluation experiment comparing tracking and automatically moving focused sources. The results show that the focused source tracking in high response speed obtained the highest rating in both the localization and feeling of amusement.
