Fabrication and experiment of aquatic display for behavioral experiment of small fishes

(in English) In behavioral experiments to investigate cognition in small animals, a method to record responses to images shown on an information display has been used. In our previous study, we presented aerial images in a fish behavioral experiment and confirmed the effectiveness of the method. However, when forming images in water, it is necessary to consider the refraction at the interface in order to form an accurate image of the fish. In this paper, we investigate the change of the divergence angle of the light from the light source on the aquatic image by both numerical simulation and experiment.
