An Experimental Study on Modeling Fluid Flow using VR

(in English) In computer graphics (CG), a modeling system with virtual reality (VR), which can achieve intuitive operations, has got much attention, so various methods have been developed. However, for modeling fluid flows, typical methods with VR have not been proposed yet. Our research goal is to develop a method for creating fluid flows using a VR device as a user-interface. In this paper, as an initial experiment, we create a modeling tool of fluids using a head-mounted display and two controllers, and verify usefulness of our tool.
