An AR-based Display System of Reference Information for Self-study with Hand-Motion Input based on Posture Recognition by Machine Learning

(in English) To support mathematics learning, we propose an AR system that displays information on a desk. This system uses machine learning to recognize fingers from video images, and displays the formula corresponding to the problem pointed at. This improves time efficiency by reducing the time required to search for materials during learning. The results of the operation time during the experiment and the problem solving time showed that the proposed system was effective in speeding up the material search time and reducing the solving time.
