A Picture Style Transfer System for Tourist Attractions using CycleGAN and Instance Segmentation

(in English) In recent years,the tourism industry has been severely affected by the novel coronavirus.In order to prevent infection,it is necessary to maintain a certain distance from the target area.On the other hand,it is also necessary to provide contents to attract the interest of tourists.Taking these points into consideration,we will create an application for tourists that can be experienced while keeping a distance,keeping in mind the prevention of infection.In this research,we convert the scenery in the photographs into Edo-period style images.In order to reproduce the scenery of the Edo period,we apply Ukiyo-e style processing using Instance Segmentation and CycleGAN.
