Transmission Experiments of Millimeter-Wave 8K Wireless Camera and Practical Use for TV Program Production

(in English) We are developing a millimeter-wave wireless camera that has compact size and consumes less power for ultrahigh-definition television (UHDTV) transmission.A single-carrier transmission with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) was considered and applied to the 8K wireless camera.The SC-FDE is robust to power-amplifier distortion and can be applied to mobile environments.In this report,we conducted a transmission experiment of a millimeter-wave 8K wireless camera system, and operated it in a live TV program Production.
