Software-based professional media production system has been developed. In the software-based system, the video must be communicated between program production functions on cloud and on-premise servers. Since the bandwidth of the communication path is limited, the video must be compressed. It is necessary to allocate a lot of resources in order to reduce the delay in the compression/decompression processing of 8K video, however, the effect of reducing the delay is limited only by increasing the allocation of resources. This paper proposes a method to reduce the delay and reports the results of verification of the delay reduction effect. |
