Phase-detection autofocus system for 8K three-chip imaging camera

(in English) We developed a phase detection autofocus (PDAF) for three-chip imaging broadcasting cameras that detects disparity between pixels with different apertures across multiple sensors. Incorporating the proposed method and metal-shielded PD sensors into the 8K high-speed camera, we conducted disparity calculation experiment and AF operation test in an 8K sport content production.
