A Twice-Embedding Reversible Data Hiding Method for the Grayscale-Based EtC System

(in English) This paper proposes a twice-embedding method for data hiding in images that can be used with the encryption-then-compression (EtC) system. The proposed method uses different pixels in the same block to perform two independent embeddings, which increases the maximum embeddable payload size. The method can suppress the degradation on the image quality.
