[Invited Talk] Aerial 3D Interface formed by Aerial Imaging by Retro-reflection

(in English) In this paper, we propose an aerial 3D interface using aerial imaging by retro-reflection (AIRR). AIRR is one of the aerial imaging techniques that form aerial information screen floating in the mid-air. Combining a light field display with AIRR realizes a real-time aerial projection of light field images captured by a light field camera. Furthermore, we show the future of real-time video communication with a user projected in three dimensions in the mid-air by combining the AIRR with an eye-matching video calling method in AIRR.
