Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Live sportscasting requires concise but sophisticated video expressions including immediate camera actions in response to forthcoming events. Focusing on gaming know-hows of professionals, we developed an AI framing engine for robotic cameras. In this paper, we tried to solve the operation delay caused by the processing time of the robotic camera with an AI framing engine using predictive models. The experiment showed that the robotic camera well imitates the work of camera operators without delay.
