This manuscript discusses on experimental result of vessels detection using digital terrestrial television broadcast. Electronic Navigation Research Institute proposed the surveillance system using delayed signals of digital terrestrial television broadcast to detect aircraft, and the experimental system was deployed to Fukuoka Institute of Technology to evaluate its specification. Through this investigation, we found that the proposed system could be applied to vessels detection. In this manuscript, we compare the estimated moving target position with automatic identification system (AIS). Considering the direction of antenna and positional relation of Fukuoka tower, we summarize the evaluation results of the proposed system in Fukuoka area. |
